Character

Daniel

Currently Daniel’s Inspiration (W) isn’t used to stack damage but more of a way to enable his Masterpiece (R). We’re reducing the amount of time it takes for the mark to finish to enable Daniel more control over his damage window and grant high damage when utilizing his skills correctly.

Shadow Glide (E)’s cooldown will now also start after using his empowered basic attack, increasing his cooldown when running away but allows him to use it more during skirmishes.

These changes will allow Daniel to rely less on his Inspiration (W) and try different playstyles.

  • Brush Stroke – Yellow(Q)
    • Range 7m → 7.5m

Laura

Despite being a stylish character, Laura wasn’t able to get the spotlight outside of higher tiers due to being a very skill intensive character with a high skill celling. Her skillset also wasn’t able to work that much in a squad environment as well.

To make up her for her somewhat monotonous skill pressing, Laura was given short cooldowns which overwhelmed the player giving them little leeway to react when piloted at the highest level. This caused Laura to be either very strong or very weak depending on the meta.

Due to theses issues, Laura is getting reworked to be a more team-mode focused character, stylishly making her way into the enemy lines and disrupting their formations.

Barbara

Barbara’s BT Sentry Gun Mk.II (Q) allowed her a very unique mechanic in utilizing her sentry guns to control her surrounding area. However, Barbara currently uses her turret more as a movement skill using her R-Q Short Circuit rather than fully fulfilling the fantasy of a zone controller.

This also caused Barbara to rely more on spamming her Free-Electron Lasers (W) and R-E Particle Storm is now rarely used. Due to these issues above, we decided to rework Barbara.

Barbara will now use Pistol as her weapon, gaining more mobility with the new weapon skill, and use her Sentry Guns as a key mechanic to control her surroundings and will have a new identity of mid-long range skill damage dealer.

Previously, Bernice’s basic attack range was fixed, which didn’t allow for use of options that increase range. Ly Anh

Due to her possession mechanic, Ly Anh usually has to take hits before she transforms in order to move into her Ghost form. We’re giving a bit of help to her sustain by letting Ly Anh heal for a portion of her lost HP when she transforms into her Ghost form.

Ly Anh’s Ghostly Grip (Q) was also a skill that was hard to dodge due to its short delay. We’re slightly increasing the delay for the skill but making up for it by slightly increasing root duration as well.

Freedom (R) was also a skill that was hard to utilize due to it needing warm up to fully use its potential and the inability to cast skills during this time. Freedom (R) will now have increased attack speed regardless of its stacks and will have reduced required basic attacks to Fear her enemies. Her Fear duration will also slightly be reduced due to it being easier to proc.

However, the maximum number of chakrams has been reduced to prevent Zahir from holding a large number of chakrams during initial encounters.

Jenny

After being downed, while in P – Play Dead state, Jenny was able to receive healing from allies, making her extremely efficient when paired with healing teammates. The combination of stealth, invincibility, and full HP recovery upon revival made Jenny very difficult to counter. Now, healing from any source other than P – Play Dead will be disabled during the revival process.

  • Play Dead(P)
    • All healing effects will be disabled except for the recovery from Play Dead(P) while reviving.

Hart

Hart’s current evolution system which revolves around crafting her weapon has lost of a lot of its weight with crafting become more simplified. Her evolution options also failed to provide various ways to differentiate her playstyle as well. We will be removing the evolution system and adding parts of the upgrades into her base skills.

Hart’s ultimate ability, Peacemaker (R), will undergo significant changes. While it was a unique skill that allowed Hart to charm her enemies and make them dance, it proved to be too efficient in highly competitive environments where coordinated teamwork was involved. However, the skill was difficult to use effectively at other tiers, resulting in a significant performance gap between high-level and lower-level Hart players. Details of the changes to Hart’s new ultimate can be found below.
